[Exmortis]

Fucking Amazing!

This review contains spoilers- you have been warned!

The first time I went through this was so incredibly tense I was sat here shaking with my hand over my mouth. I read the hunter's diary, and that put in my mind a feeling of dread of the house. Then I read the old diary refered to in the first, and the book of Exmortis seemed like my worst nightmare. Then when I got into the safe and saw a book there I knew only bad could happen. The story was excellent, I felt caught up in the dealings of higher beings- not somewhere for mere mortals! When I saw Gwen I clicked on her quickly before she could get away (turns out she wouldn't) but oh. My. Fucking. God. I thought I'd lost!!!

However, from then on I just got stuck. I read a few reviews, and found out I needed to get all the symbols- but I could only find 4, then I found out I needed to get out of the cellar, but the door was still locked. I got pissed off and frustrated at this point, and I closed the game, tried another time in the same way and got stuck again, but then I read a walkthrough and followed it exactly to the cellar- and it worked, but since I'd actually done all the things first time I assume you have to do them in the right order, which is why you only get 9 for interaction. :( That means you read Exmortis first, so you don't get scarred of reading it when you see it, you find out bad things should happen after you read the other books...

I got to the cellar though, and amazingly the tension was picked up again, which shows how good this is!!! I nearly crapped myself running through the tunnels- FUCK! Great game!! It could be better though, it seemed a bit slow, but for tension, I have never seen anything better.

For the people who thought it wasn't scary, I suggest you get into the right frame of mind- you have to believe in the story, then it is terrifying.

Great game!!!!

I thought this was great, although you did move slow, but I think it depends on your stamina. There should be health increase things as well as stamina ones. Its quite fun but still pretty slow.

Great game, nice difficulty level

But the guy at the end was too hard to kill, I just gave up, because it took too long. I managed to turn him into that green monster, but then it was too hard, and I got bored. I was quite playable though.

Cool, but way too easy

After a while, like others here, I managed to get so many people that the game runs itself, which is no fun at all. There should be more enemies after the tanks.

w00t! 629 tower guards, 51 repair guys and 23 com hub people!!! I can sit back and let the money roll in.

It is a nice game though, fun for the first few rounds, but there should be an official ending at about level 25.

Well I'm only reviewing this so I get a reply, but.... ;)

Well I think it is a good game, the graphics are certainly good, but some parts are sort of dull, and it doesn't really make me want to play it again. It was quite challenging though, so nice one, but its not the best game ever. Its quite similar in style to some other games, but this is probably one of the better ones of that type :)

Great game!!

I loved this game, it is a very original idea and was always entertaining. I managed to complete it on insane, too, I just turned the quality up to high and the whole thing ran slowly!! Then I had more time for everything!! Good game though. Are you the same Weebl that did the badgers? And the football badgers? And Weebl and Bob? You rule!

Pretty good

Man that makes your eyes hurt!! After a while it is too fast and it just wobbles around, it makes your head spin! Quite good though, I got 1001.

I hate this game!

GRRR what a frustrating game! But I have no choice but to give it 5. What a great game. But so damn hard! I am always crap at these kind of games. Oh well, it is very good, and it kind of fun, but I am seriously crap at it.
